Fuel filters
There’s something sitting in the fuel...
You are wondering why filter fuel? Most likely, the first thing that comes to your mind is water, but that’s not everything! We'll tell you:
- particulates from the fuel system,
- particulates of external origin,
- corrosion,
- dissolved water and emulsified water,
- condensate/ice,
- other, e.g. paraffin + asphaltenes + microbes.
And all of that is in fuel.
So, fuel filters’ function is to eliminate: water (condensation in a car’s underfilled tank, at petrol stations, leaky plugs, etc.) rust (tank), dust (from the surroundings while refueling, through leaky plugs, etc.), bacteria (growing in fuel), paraffin (after exceeding a certain minimum temperature, parrafin crystallizes from the fuel).
Contaminated fuel causes blocks and destroys injectors and pumps.
In order to improve the efficiency of filtration systems, one, two or even three fuel filters are used.
In precipitation of water from the fuel, separators are used, with high filtration efficiency (very good ability to catch dust), high resistance to paraffin, ice and tar substance.
On our part we will help you choose the right filter for your engine so that you don’t have to things about all of this.
